Where my SO and I the only ones. :D that thought that our I129f petition was sooooo perfect  . That, the clerk at USCIS would be sooo impressed by all our efforts and hard work ;) ; that we would jump the que and have our petition completed in one week. :P:P:dance:

If anyone else had ideas of grandure or believing the unlikely was possible  . Please tell.... your unrealistic thoughts . :P

Actually I did. We spent several weeks puting together our packet through the mail. Then when I went to meet him we sat down for hours going through the papers. We bought a very nice binder to make it look professional and everything. Well a lot of people probably do this.

I obviously assume that any agent touching our petition will be so moved by the undated pictures spanning the six year period of our relationship that they'd overlook the lack of primary evidence of our relationship.

I also have a fantasy that the agent interviewing my SO will like the photo album that my SO compiled a few years back (when he was sad that I went back to the States for a few days) and that we've added to over th years. I will be invited into the interview and we will all flip through the pages of our albun, Edgar and I reminiscing about when each picture was taken while the agent looks on with a wistful smile, basking in the warm glow of love that transcends manmade boundaries and cultural barriers.

GabachaYucateca that was hilarious! I am a whole 2 weeks into this process and keep thinking to myself that our case is so straightforward, no kids, divorces, criminal records etc, that the first person who opened the 129F packet would see that there is no reason to delay an approval! I wish! Oh well, at least I can be with Rich during this process. My thought are with all of you guys who are separated from your loved one and I wish you could all be as lucky as we are (to be together for the wait):)

This is soooo hillarious!!!! I thought I was the only one. Heishe your post was the funniest.

So yeah, filing thru VSC, I just knew it would be a solid 7 days from when I sent off paperwork until we were approved..... 18 days and counting :(

If I check the site one more time, I think I'm going to get banned. After checking the 10th time on any given day, they should just lock you out until the next business day. Even funnier, why was I checking all day yesterday? Yeah because they have someone working on saturday just to approve my case LMAO. But I can't help myself....the waiting is a killer, so that's all I've got.

I say we can DREAM ON!!!!!

1st K-1 Journey:

June 2005 - filed

October 2005 - visa interview

March 2006 - AOS packet mailed

DIVORCED

June 2007 - Interview

2008 - 10 year approval

--------

2nd K-1 Journey:

07/28/07 - AOS paperwork mailed

07/30/07 - Received at lockbox

09/18/07 - Biometrics

10/15/07 - Transferred to CSC

01/09/08 - AOS approved w/o interivew

11/01/09 - Lift conditions

11/01/10 - interview to lift conditions/10-yr card

01/01/10 - 10 year approval

DIVORCED

I would also like some sort of mechanism where after scrolling through the forum X number of times in X amount of hours, the site automatically denied entry. Can this be done?

I sent our petition off to VSC thinking the same thing! A month later the NOA2 came. Nothing compared to what the CSC folks go through, but awful worrying when you're expecting only 1 or 2 weeks!

You know what I did... I stayed logged into the case status site while I was online, clicking back and forth between two links every 5 minutes or so to stay logged in. Yes, I checked Saturdays and Sundays too. I never got banned from the case status site cuz I didn't log out often, but I got banned from my checking account while waiting to see my check clear to get the case number!
