Ok so we are at the nvc stage. We are going to have 1 year in this process on March 26, 2015. We are Im assuming on the last step of the nvc process. We sent affidavit of support, supporting docs, original civil docs, etc. We recieved an email stating it takes (60 days) very annoying but ok. Well 55 days later we recieved another email from nvc saying some checklist for tax transcripts ok we corrected that sent them what they wanted and now another (60 days!!!!!!) when will my case be closed!!! Im waiting and waiting. Anyone else waiting like me?

Oh and if anyone did the same I-130 petition then nvc process please share me your journey if its for a spouse/wife from managua nicaragua.

Today I sent an email request for nvc expedite. Has anyone else done this? I have been in a foreign country with my husband and child. My son and I are both u.s. Citizens and im holding back my son from school. Do you think it will be approved?

You and your son are both US citizens? I am confused about why you need a expedite?

My son and I (wife) are both u.s. Citizens. We have been in nicaragua for over a year waiting on this whole nvc process. I want an expedite because im not only holding back my son from school but also having financial hardship due to im in a foreign country not working here. Im not from here!! (Nicaragua) my question is if anyone had a similar case to mines approved

What is stopping you from just going to the US?, you said your both US citizens!

I requested an expedite from NVC 3 weeks ago and I still haven't heard anything back yet.. I have emailed the embassy about a week ago but nothing back from them either!
