I do have a strange feeling about him becoming a bad guy now, when apparently he insists on AOS which would cost $1070.

OP did not say that. She said he has his EAD and is "waiting for his paperwork" ( GC) which means it has been filed.

She said she can not afford "removal of conditions" (which she should not concern herself with).

I honestly think you misunderstood immigration. Infidelity in a relationship doesn't mean immigration scam. He is just being a cheater. The solution to your problem is either you try counselling and save your marriage or simply move on with your life. Calling it a marriage scam is baseless.

This sentence says a lot :

He told people he was here on business and he had not attended to be with me. ( I assume she meant to type intended)

To cheat is one thing but to have a completely other life in another town is another. This kind of person doesn't start to cheat once in the USA

but has likely cheated the entire time from day one before he used her to get out of his country.

His intend was to defraud from the beginning in my opinion.

Somebody painted a fraud scenario for you to absorb. If you feel you are the judge get your facts from both sides. Experience has shown how extent a spouse can go in order to blackmail the other spouse when things are falling apart. Reserve your judgment and be cautious in passing comment on anything you read. Judge not or you will be judged.

It is customary to go by what the poster of a board says. It is not realistic to wait for the other side to suddenly appear and then tell his side of

the story. As I said this is not a court room. Even you will never know for sure what is going on because you weren't there in their house being a

witness to it all no matter who writes what. If it is not your style to comment in cases like this then keep scrolling and don't comment.

Oh well, that is the point... he may be a cheat or not right? nobody knows for sure and nobody will ever know the truth from just one side... so why pass unfair judgment?

Given that there are two sides to every story it will be reasonable to probe any allegation before anyone jumps into conclusion... What is bad is bad and I am not saying that the husband cheated or not. what i am saying is that this kind of stories are incomplete because they are intended to evoke undue judgment against a person who has no idea he/she is being condemned for what he/she did or did not do. now i will tell you that people who are extremely insecure can allege cheating even though it never exist. just talking with friends or family can be highly suspicious to them and regarded as cheating... my take is be quick to hear but slow to pass irrational judgment or it will come back to you.

Sorry if i offend you. that was not my intention... i will let it be just as you have adviced but i have made my point and i am not changing position... i respect everybody and i want everyone to be respected.
