Hi,

I am writing to see if there is anything I can do to accelerate my petition. My case has been at NVC for a long time and is not moving at all. These guys proven to be the slowest institute in the world!

From hour long phone calls that end in less than five minutes, to sending several unanswered emails, NVC still never reviewed my documents. I've sent my AOS and Civil documents, they received them back in December 27th, 2014. Until this moment, they are still reviewing them. They said it'll take 60 days, but it's taking way longer than that.

A review step should never take this long, in case there is something missing, it's totally ridiculous to wait this long to know, then send what's missing, then wait...etc.

I want to complain to someone about this process, it's totally unacceptable. Today, and after over 43 unsuccessful attempts to get on the call waiting list, then another 38 minutes hold and irritating music, I got this lady who just said: We still need more time to get to your documents. That's it.

So I asked if there is anything I can do to accelerate the process, she says if you want a supervisor to see your case, you have to wait 42 days for a supervisor to even look at my case so he can try to accelerate the review.

First, can I do anything, write anyone to help me get my documents reviewed?

Second, Is there any agency that monitor NVC performance, so I can write or call them?

Thanks.

It's completely frustrating...I understand! Someone who's scan date was 12/31 just got reviewed yesterday so don't give up hope. You can ask for a supervisor to review the case. That will also add more time though I believe but at this point I would try that. Don't send anymore letter or email as that will just take them another "60 days to review". As for someone to complain to, don't think there is anyone??!! They figure we want this we'll deal with whatever their messed up system throws at us to get it! Lol

Perhaps someone else who has gone through this will way in but that's my thoughts. Best wishes to you! I'm sure it'll come! Nvc is crazy!
