If one question was answered wrong on a ds260 from how does this affect your interview? I can't seem to find a way to fix or edit for ds260.Any recommendations? or does anyone know if this is basically an automatic denial?

If you made an error start first with NVC they may be able to correct. If its too late then you would just bring to the attention of the CO at your interview. And it depends on the error how big of an error it is. Long as you bring it to the attention of the CO it should be no big deal. You can not correct it once you have submitted it.

The question was "Have you ever been to the US?" & I attempted to answer yes because obviously he lives with me in the US,but it then asked for the arrival and departure date.I entered the arrival but no departure as he hasn't departed and was prompted to enter a departure date before continuing. So i made the mistake of putting no instead to the answer because I didn't have a departure date.I feel like that's the worst thing to answer wrong because It looks like we were trying to lie. :(

He should not be living with you, he should be visiting you, unless he entered without inspection and needs an I-601a.
