a quick question, on the form I-765 question 16, what does a K1 visa put in there? instructions are so comlicated.

(a )(6 ) is to apply for an EAD based on a K-1 entry, and is not what is needed.

The code you want to use is (c )(9 ), but (c )(9 ) is for an adjustment applicant.

7. EAD Applicants Who Have Filed for Adjustment of

Status

A. Adjustment Applicant--(c )(9). File Form I-765 with a

copy of the receipt notice or other evidence that your

Form I-485, Application for Permanent Residence or

Adjust Status, is pending. You may file Form I-765

together with your Form I-485.
