I called again today since there was no update on the view of the AOS...

Spoke with "Sally" she said she is not able to review for it, the form is still locked and she was going to forward it to her supervisor and to call back by end of the week.

I am still stuck..can't get this thing part moving. :-)

Woow, keep trying until you hit the right person, the review takes more or less than a minute just to confirm you and give your email address! Not rocket science but do I say? Good luck!

Spoke with 2nd agent "Lisa" seems like the AOS form is locked for some reason and she was going to email the supervisor to get it unlocked just like the first agent i spoke to on Friday. She didn't give an estimate to when it might be done.

I will try calling again in few days to see where I might end up.

Hallelujah .....AOS form got reviewed yesterday (3/31/2015)....seems like one of the supervisors reviwed it, confirmed by "Abby".

Now I am told that I will have to wait 5-10 days to pay the visa fee.

Another interesting point AOS/Civil Document review should be done in 45 days instead of the 60 days that I use to get.

I just called. After waiting 45 min on hold, got told that agent form is still locked and to call next week. I guess just as long as everything is completed by CC its alright?

I am happy for you! My IV opened in a day after DS-261 review. And so they have cut their review period with 15 days? That's welcome news.

I called today and the lady over the phone unlocked the agent form and aos fees. She said within a week I will be able to pay the IV fees and fill out ds260. She also mentioned now its only taking 45 days to review the papers. Good news! My question is as follows:

1. Will it take 1 full week after they approve the ds261 and aos fee to pay the iv fee and ds260?

2. How long does it take them to review and approve iv fee and ds260?

3. we will only get a cc after completing ds260 as well?

Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you!

It took 2 days for my IV invoice to be generated, i was able to pay today.

I don't know the answer to your other questions.

Thank you for your kind words...It seems they have cut their review time by 15 days. It has been mentioned multiple times by few people on the forum. I will see how it pans out of me.

1. Mine opened within one day of DS-261 review so more than likely a full week is just their way to be on the right side it will have been invoiced,,,,,keep checking frequently.

2. IV fee will show in "Process" after you pay but will move to "Paid" in second or third days, mine cleared in second. For DS-260 I don't think there is a way of knowing when they exactly review it and my guess is they do that as a process of reviewing your evidence in general.

3. You must complete and submit DS-260 before your case is complete simply because this is the basic visa application form.

Thanks! I got a checklist today from NVC (30 days after scan date) saying to complete the ds-261 form online. I had completed this 35 days back itself but the form got approved 1 day after they issued the checklist. Do you think it will take them another 60 days to now review the ds-260 form?

You get your scan date when the NVC receives your AOS/IV package...Right now the NVC seems to be running right under 30 days from scan date to case complete.

AOS/IV package sent March 10, 2015.

My scan date was March 13, 2015.

Paid my IV fee March 28, 2015.

Completed 260 on April 3, 2015.

Case complete on April 9, 2013

You can call on the 261 a week or so after you fill it out.

You get your scan date when the NVC receives your AOS/IV package...Right now the NVC seems to be running right under 30 days from scan date to case complete.

AOS/IV package sent March 10, 2015.

My scan date was March 13, 2015.

Paid my IV fee March 28, 2015.

Completed 260 on April 3, 2015.

Case complete on April 9, 2013
