WOW well the message finally arrived!!! Interview is March 26th over a year since filling. This is great news though.

06/09/14 - sent I-130

06/14/14 - NOA 1

11/14/14 - NOA 2 (5 months)

AOS (Local Office: Denver)

03/24/15 - AOS packet sent via USPS Priority Mail (I-485, I-765 & I-131 w/ approved I-130)

03/26/15 - package delivered according to USPS website

04/01/15 - email notifying the AOS package has been received

04/02/15 - an AOS fee withdrawn from a bank account

04/09/15 - received hard copies of all three NOAs (NOAs dated 04/01/15)

04/28/15 - Biometrics

05/08/15 - online status changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview"

05/18/15 - online status changed to I-765 approved-wait the card in the mail (no change for I-131) (80 days)

05/19/15 - received EAD/AP in the mail

05/28/15 - online status changed to "As of June 28, case is ready to be scheduled for an interview." This is the second time of such change since 05/08/15.

07/05/15 - online status changed to "As of July 5, case is ready to be scheduled for an interview." How many times are they going to update that status, I wonder?

12/18/15 - still waiting!!! For almost 9 months now (261 days from AOS NOA, 234 days from Biometrics).

01/14/16 - submitted "out-of-normal processing time" inquiry and called USCIS that stated the case is still at NBC and "inquiry" should answer why there is such delay.

01/15/16 - 294 days since the AOS was received by the USCIS; 262 days from the biometrics.

01/28/16 - [day 309] received response to case status inquiry (processed on 01/23/15) - "your case is waiting to be scheduled for interview," so wait another 90 days [sigh].

02/21/16 - [day 332] interview scheduled for 03/24/16 [363 days from the receipt of petition].

02/24/16 - [day 363] AOS interview. Approval on the spot.

I spoke to my lawyer about the same thing i.e. the medical and they said yes I will need a new medical as one year has passed. They said turning up without a new medical could mean delaying your case or denial. So I would go ahead and get a new one, mine only cost $50 so its not so bad I guess to pay again.

Thank you for sharing this because I started thinking of not doing it and see what they will tell me at the interview. Our medical cost us $300. That was the cheapest I found. :cry:

Thank you for sharing this because I started thinking of not doing it and see what they will tell me at the interview. Our medical cost us $300. That was the cheapest I found. :cry:

2nd medical done, they took blood to test for Syphilis and tested to TB again also have to have the flu shot again but that was it. Half the cost of my last one.

BTW, despite the fact the interview was more than a year from my med exam, they did not ask for updated medical exam (I did it though).n

Interview went well, officer asked for the updated medical and said that we were approved within the first 2 mins of being in the room. He said he would have to run an updated background check to make sure I'm not wanted or have an warrants and that the GC should arrive in 3-4 weeks. No change on the USCIS site as of yet, how long has this change taken for most people?

02-24-2016: Case scheduled for Interview March 26th 2016 (347 days after filing and will be well over a year come interview date).

381 days later and my GC is being produced and mailed.

Adjustment of Status (AOS), Removal of Conditions (ROC) Followed by N400 

 

AOS from ESTA

03-13-2015: AOS Packet Mailed to Chicago Lockbox Facility via USPS

03-14-2015: Arrived at Post Office Chicago, IL

03-17-2015: AOS Packet received by USCIS

03-23-2015: Text/ Email Notification: Notice of Acceptance

03-28-2015: NOA1 for AOS, AP & EAD received in the mail

04-03-2015: Notice of Appointment for Biometrics on the 14th of April at 9 a.m arrived with lawyer

04-07-2015: Notice of Appointment for Biometrics on the 14th of April at 9 a.m arrived at my address (lot slower)

04-06-2015: Early walk in for Biometrics complete 6th April, walked in at 3pm and spoke with the centre manager

05-14-2015: Expedite request made
