You can either submit a form using this link https://cisomb.dhs.gov/oca/form7001.aspx which they'll take a few weeks to look at and get a response or call 1 800 882-8100

I hope it works out for you and I'm keeping my fingers crossed I hear something by Friday as promised.

Thank you! I knew they have form for online inquiry but did not read the page well enough to figure out that we can call. I might wait for 11 months threshold (I am very close) and if no interview, will file the request.

Good luck to all of us!

------

05/19/15 - received EAD/AP in the mail

05/28/15 - online status changed to "As of June 28, case is ready to be scheduled for an interview." This is the second time of such change since 05/08/15.

07/05/15 - online status changed to "As of July 5, case is ready to be scheduled for an interview." How many times are they going to update that status, I wonder?

12/18/15 - still waiting!!! For almost 9 months now (261 days from AOS NOA, 234 days from Biometrics).

01/14/16 - submitted "out-of-normal processing time" inquiry and called USCIS that stated the case is still at NBC and "inquiry" should answer why there is such delay.

01/28/16 - [day 309] received response to case status inquiry (processed on 01/23/15) - "your case is waiting to be scheduled for interview," so wait another 90 days [sigh].

They're currently working on January/early Fed Applications, I've been told towards the end of March and no sooner.

Thanks Tomriesgo for your update, wow unbelievable because on the uscis processing time, they said Dallas field office processed up to Jan 28, 2015 as of December 31, 2015. So it takes them almost 1.5 months to move from Jan 28 to early Feb 2015.

02/07/2015 - Day 0 - AOS application (I-130 & I-485) sent

02/10/2015 - Day 3 - AOS received in Chicago Lockbox

02/13/2015 - Day 6 - Texts and emails notifications

I know, none of it makes any sense. After the phone call with the office I also received this email from the Ombudsman's office. I'm on the same thinking as you, "as of December## means - as of December##" So it our minds it should now read "as of January ##"

Dear Sir/Madam,

The Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman (Ombudsman’s Office) has reviewed your inquiry.

We reached out to the Dallas field office, according to the Dallas field office they are current processing cases with the filing date of January 2015 therefore your case is within normal processing times as provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on its website. You may monitor processing times on the USCIS website at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do. If this is causing you extreme hardship you can request an expedite by submitting your evidence to the Dallas field office.

When your case exceeds the timeframe provided on the site, you should contact USCIS and request that a Service Request Management Tool (SRMT) ticket be generated. You will find contact information for requesting an SRMT ticket at this site: http://www.uscis.gov/about-us/contact-us/national-customer-service-center.

If you initiated an SRMT ticket process and 60 days have passed without a resolution of your ticket, please feel free to contact our office again and provide the SRMT ticket number with your case information.

Because your case is currently within normal processing times, our office will be closing this matter.

Thanks Tomriesgo for your update, wow unbelievable because on the uscis processing time, they said Dallas field office processed up to Jan 28, 2015 as of December 31, 2015. So it takes them almost 1.5 months to move from Jan 28 to early Feb 2015.

I would say you're probably pretty close though so keep your chin up, you must be looking at getting an update soon based on your time line.

Congrats. They will prolly say during the interview that you need to update your medical file or not.. If it was me i would take an updated medical just in case they say they only can approve you with a valid medical. Maybe u can call the uscis and ask about the medical requirements.

Congratulations!! Looks like Denver is a month ahead of Dallas so I guess I've got a month or more to wait.

Waiting sucks and the process should not be that long for any of the offices when others get their interviews in 4-6 months. I wish you to hear from the USCIS very soon-sooner than a month. :)

Thank you for the input, I think I just will spend another $300 and get the medical done.

I spoke to my lawyer about the same thing i.e. the medical and they said yes I will need a new medical as one year has passed. They said turning up without a new medical could mean delaying your case or denial. So I would go ahead and get a new one, mine only cost $50 so its not so bad I guess to pay again.
