Can anyone explain the updates USCIS post about what cases they are working on. They updated yesterday for Dallas saying as of November 30th they were processing December 27th. So surely in anyones mind it would be as of January 15th now? and they should be processing possibly February?

03-17-2015: AOS Packet received by USCIS

03-23-2015: Text/ Email Notification: Notice of Acceptance

03-28-2015: NOA1 for AOS, AP & EAD received in the mail

04-03-2015: Notice of Appointment for Biometrics on the 14th of April at 9 a.m arrived with lawyer

04-07-2015: Notice of Appointment for Biometrics on the 14th of April at 9 a.m arrived at my address (lot slower)

04-06-2015: Early walk in for Biometrics complete 6th April, walked in at 3pm and spoke with the centre manager

05-14-2015: Expedite request made

05-15-2015: USCIS site says expedite complete but no change.

06-01-2015: Case enquiry opened with USCIS as its passed 75 days.

06-02-2015: EAD/AP card in production and to be distributed.

06-05-2014: Hard copy notice to say EAD approved.

06-08-2015: EAD Card arrived in the mail.

08-25-2015: 161 Days since filing and no interview date.

01-12-2016: 300 Days since filingand no interview date.

02-24-2016: Case scheduled for Interview March 26th 2016 (347 days after filing and will be well over a year come interview date).

I do not have the answer to your question but my reading of processing dates is the same as yours.

06/09/14 - sent I-130

06/14/14 - NOA 1

11/14/14 - NOA 2 (5 months)

AOS (Local Office: Denver)

03/24/15 - AOS packet sent via USPS Priority Mail (I-485, I-765 & I-131 w/ approved I-130)

03/26/15 - package delivered according to USPS website

04/01/15 - email notifying the AOS package has been received

04/02/15 - an AOS fee withdrawn from a bank account

04/09/15 - received hard copies of all three NOAs (NOAs dated 04/01/15)

04/28/15 - Biometrics

05/08/15 - online status changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview"

05/18/15 - online status changed to I-765 approved-wait the card in the mail (no change for I-131) (80 days)

05/19/15 - received EAD/AP in the mail

05/28/15 - online status changed to "As of June 28, case is ready to be scheduled for an interview." This is the second time of such change since 05/08/15.

07/05/15 - online status changed to "As of July 5, case is ready to be scheduled for an interview." How many times are they going to update that status, I wonder?

12/18/15 - still waiting!!! For almost 9 months now (261 days from AOS NOA, 234 days from Biometrics).

01/14/16 - submitted "out-of-normal processing time" inquiry and called USCIS that stated the case is still at NBC and "inquiry" should answer why there is such delay.

01/15/16 - 294 days since the AOS was received by the USCIS; 262 days from the biometrics.

01/28/16 - [day 309] received response to case status inquiry (processed on 01/23/15) - "your case is waiting to be scheduled for interview," so wait another 90 days [sigh].

02/21/16 - [day 332] interview scheduled for 03/24/16 [363 days from the receipt of petition].

02/24/16 - [day 363] AOS interview. Approval on the spot.

February 1st and its days away from 11 months since filling my AOS and still no interview date. USCIS Dallas field office is beyond a joke and needs to be investigated. There is no reason they should take 6 months or more than other offices.

Hey tomriesgo, I filed on February and haven't received anything. Maybe you should do an infopass and ask them directly. I have no idea why Dallas field office takes so long. We're in the slowest office now!!!

I have an info pass scheduled for the 10th of this month, did you do one yourself? I've filled a complaint with the CIS Ombudsman as they originally said in September if I had not had an interview date by the 11 month point (February 13th) they would look in to whats going on. You should contact them yourself.

So guys something confusing just happened...

I had my interview on sept 2nd in fl and was told that they will move our case to ny since my husband works there. I contacted my fl senator abt it n basically last month the uscis ny location decided this wasnt their jurisdiction n sent the file back to fl. The fl senator let me knw tht there will be a 2nd interview in fl n will take abt 60 days to scedule one. Today my i485 status was updated to new card being produced. Does this mean that they approved my green card without a 2nd interview or is it just a glitch in their system? Can someone advise me? Thanks alot.

22 december 2014 - POE on VWP in EWR

26 december 2014 - married

2015 decided to do AOS

20 march - packet sent

22 march - arrived at chicago (day 1)

27 march - check cashed (day 6)

5 april - bio appointment received for april 15 (day 15)

10 april - sucessfull walkin bio + finally received NOAs (day 20)

15 april - original bio date (day 25)

2 june - EAD approved (day 70)

30 july - e-mail received, interview is scheduled on sept 2 (day 130)

Waiting for interview now..

Congrats on your approval! Forget about the 2nd Interview and wait for your GC to show up in the mail!

Having phoned the CIS Ombudsman and had a return call from the manager on duty, they inform me USCIS had said all appointments would be given out before the 11 month period, they also expressed how many angry people they've had complain about Dallas but did not say how they'll be dealt with. I'm hoping they push this now as I don't want to be waiting a year or more.

Wow, don't you love it - they know about complaints but it seems like do not do anything about it. Even Houston appears to be faster, although the same state.

Aren't you in 11 months already? I hope they are correct.

Can you, please, give us phone number for CIS Ombudsman you called? I might try to contact them and complain about Denver office which not any better. Thank you in advance.

You can either submit a form using this link https://cisomb.dhs.gov/oca/form7001.aspx which they'll take a few weeks to look at and get a response or call 1 800 882-8100

I hope it works out for you and I'm keeping my fingers crossed I hear something by Friday as promised.
