We filing our DS-260 application online 2 weeks ago. According to the Packet 3 instructions, it said it would take 6-10 weeks for a notification to set up an interview appointment.

With the DCF process, is it different? Once we submit the DS260 and have the confirmation page can we make an appoint for an interview?

Called the embassy in Seoul several times but not getting anyone to answer the phone. Limited staff in the USCIS office.

We have all the other documents ready for the interview, we're so close to being done and just want to get it over with.

Anyone with answer please help me out. Thank you much!

Hello

I am DCF through Frankfurt.

Once I submitted the DS-260 online and sent my required documents to the Consulate, two days later I received an email telling me that I was invited to arrange my own interview via the travel docs website and to also schedule my medical, but no less than two weeks before the interview. When I initially tried to schedule the interview, I needed another confirmation from the Consulate to gain access to the available appointments. This email came within 24 hours, thereby 'unlocking' the calendar so I am now able to choose my interview appointment.

Good luck!

I'm from the UK, hubby is from Michigan and is a retired US Army LTC.   We are currently stationed overseas.
