How long does it take to for NVC

My petetiton was just approved for I130 visa and forwarded to NVC processing center. It has been almost 3 weeks and neither me or my husband has receive a instruction pkg

You will need to call them to get the case number and invoice number. It takes them a while to assign a case number. It took them 43 days to assign me one. You probably do not have a case number yet. However you should call the NVC to make sure your case is there.

They are close today for holiday so you will have to wait until tomorrow to call.

With the NVC you will be doing a lot more calling and getting info on your own. Do not wait on them to contact you, as you will be wasting a lot of extra time.

I have tried to call the NVC on several occasions, but it always give me a recorded message in English and Spanish. Afterward it hang up. Is there a 800# or is the 603# the only contact to this place?

I do not know of Another number beside the 16033340700 number someone else might know. I have always had the best luck calling when they first open which is 6 am for me. For you that is probably to early as it will be 4am your time. Other members on here have stated that they had better luck calling before the NVC closes which I think is 9pm your time, That time is probably a better option for you to try. You just have to keep trying to call them eventually you will get thru.

My case has been approved on January 10 and sent to the nvc on January 16th but until now i have not heard from the nvc nether my wife in palestin, but it said on the approval mail they will contact her within 30 days , i have tried calling no luck and i have emailed the nvc over 3 weeks ago also no response! What can i do ? And also is this normal? Can i call the usa embassy to ask ?

You should keep calling NVC cand talk to representative. If he doesn't give you satisfactory answer than plz ask for supervisor review!! If they have said they will contact in 30 days than you must ask whweather you case ia complete or not!
