Hi Ya'll,

As you may have read in my previous post we got our NOA2 by e-mail notication today and should be recieving it in the mail soon. I was wondering if we actually get notication by online status or email notication when our case has reached NVC etc? Or do we just get touched or?

Just wondering if not then is there gonna be a huge gap between now and packet 3....also what exactly is packet 4?

Love hurts

When you live an ocean away

When you change your sleep schedule to catch a few more moments

When you really need to be held and you have to imagine whilst your partner describes it

When you constantly refresh the USCIS website to see if you're getting any closer

Love Loves

When it repays you with the love of your life

When God finally answered your biggest prayer

When you can live life again in the real world but still have that eternal connection

When you wake up for to the beginning of the rest of your life with the person you fought so hard for

When you love somebody that much

You'll do anything

Let's see if I can remember all the details , we did get a notification that our application reached NVC, then on to Vancouver. Anton recieved the next bunch of paper work to gather, medical, police certificates, my tax statements ect. There is a 90 day limit to gather all the information after you are approved before submitting it all to the consulate in order to get your interview.

The faster you get it done the faster you get your interview....

Good Luck

I called the NVC. I didn't wait the 2 weeks...I received NOA2 on Feb. 28th and called the NVC on March 8th and they told me they had received the petition and sent it off to Nairobi. Fiona & Andrew,

My NOA2 date was3/2, and my case arrived at the NVC 3/6! I called them on 3/7, gave them my receipt number from the USCIS, answered some other questions about my fiancee's name and birthdate, and was then told my case arrived the day before, and gave me my case number along with which Consulate it was being sent too.

The number is: 1-603-334-0700

It's best to call during the week and talk to an operator. When I used the automated system, it didn't recognize either my case number or CIS receipt number!

And yes, you can stop looking at your case status online!!! You are in the hands of the Dept Of State now!!! You won't have to deal with the USCIS until Fiona comes to the U.S.!

Robert

You will get a letter from NVC, the online updates are done. The online thing is for USCIS and USCIS only, NVC is a seperate thing.
