Embassy Review : My interview experiance in London UK was exceptional. They went out of their way to assist me and my physical limitations to get into the building and out. The waiting area wasn't as stressful as I imagined and they have a lovely sandwich and drink area at the back. The window operators were very friendly and I came away with no problems.

Rating : Very Good

Local US CIS Office Review: Sacramento CA

Event Description
Review Date : October 14, 2007
Embassy Review : We had our AOS interview (AOS via K1 visa) on September 27th 07.
When we got there the guards checked our IDs and checked us with the hand held gadget. Scanned hubbys bag. We had to go to Level 2 in the elevator and to the interview waiting room. Lots of corridors but hubby found it.
We sat there for a minute trying to figure out who we give the appointment letter to because the window was closed. Then we actually read the note on the window (lol) and it instructs you to push your appointment letter under.
No more than 5 minutes later a lady came out and called us in and led us into her office.
She had these waterfall mini sculptures in her office which were relaxing but didn't help Andrew as he needed to pee the whole time we were in there.
She asked general questions, name, address, SSN etc.
Then asked us generally about our relationship. How we met, when we got married, when Andrew proposed etc nothing really in-depth.
Then she asked if we had any pictures. We had brought our wedding pictures from the courthouse, day trip pictures and some photos from when I came to visit him before I got the K1. She was satisfied.
We had to fax her with my co-sponcers birth certificate a few days later and that was it.
Recieved the Green card a few days before my 1 year anniversery in America and the welcome letter came on the same day.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
