Hi Everyone,

The NOA2 approved in January and also passed NVC to the US Embassy for my Fiancee in China. She has been advised to fill out the DS160, but in the meantime I'm going based on the steps for the K1 Visa from here (http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide) and one of the steps is to include an I-134, which I'm assuming is meant to be kept with my Fiancee during the interview process.

I will be visiting her shortly, but I will not have the supportive documents ready by the time of my visit beyond the I-134 itself. Can anyone confirm if an original of the supportive documents are necessary for my Fiancee or a copy (i.e. she can print out) will be sufficient? Also, I'm hesitant with the visibility of sensitive information on these documents (accounts#, etc.). Would it be permissible to mask my accounts#, etc. when providing? I'm still trying to figure out the extent of documents I should be providing. I don't mind the business letterhead of my manager re-emphasizing my income and maybe at least one of my bank account's history (date opened, current balance), but some of the others I'm hesitant to provide.

Please let me know your thoughts.

You need to provide an I-134 with an original signature. All the other supporting documentation can/should be copies.

Are you needing to use assets? Why would you need to provide different account numbers and such? You really only need to provide your most recent tax transcript, or complete copy of your return with all forms, schedules, W-2s and/or 1099s, plus proof of income with a letter from employer and/or recent pay stubs. If you need to use assets because you do not meet the income requirement, then you would need to provide proof of ownership and net value.

Where original signatures were needed, we submitted the originals and not copies.

Even the employment verification letter that was signed by the HR manager

was submitted in the original form.

However, all other supporting documents such as pay stubs, W2s, tax filing,

bank statements, etc. were all copies...and yes with all the sensitive information.

The 2014 return isn't required until April 15. If you haven't filed it yet, then 2013 is still your most recent.

When submitting the I-134 do you submit the W's or do you submit the entire tax returns? I read on another thread here at VJ that tax transcripts are needed?

Also currently how many years do you need to submit for tax returns or W'2s?

2nd go round

1st K-1 Denied

Subitted Feb 2-6-15

NOA1 - 2-18-15

NOA2 - 8-18-15

Interview 11-25-15 - Denied

And Here we go again -

New K1 submitted - 1-9-16

NOA1 - 1-12-16 (according to USCIS)

Text received 1-15-16

hardcopy - not received yet as of 1-26-16

You will need the entire tax return, including all W2s, forms, schedules and worksheets. You can include an IRS tax return transcript instead of all the forms, as the transcript includes all the information you need.

Most embassies will want the most recent year tax return.
