Hello,

Please someone advise if they have been through AP in Montreal.

Had my interview on Monday Feb 9, received 221g for Original i864

Document was sent on Feb 10 and delivered on Feb 11.

I just want to know the approximate time frames for this to be processed as I am super worried :crying::clock::cry:

They asked for the original AOS signed with a pen. My husband has signed with an electronic signature as we did EP. We sent over the one with a pen signature yesterday.

Unless things have changed then you would have been expected to bring that original document with you to the interview. We sent ours electronically as well but still had to hand in the original at the interview. If the instructions have changed I apologize. But if the instructions are still the same and you simply didn't present what you were "supposed to" at the interview then I wouldn't worry about it. They just need to get to the document and update your status! Just keep an eye on it and be patient. It is a small error on your part that they gave you the opportunity to correct. I know Montreal is awful for communications so just watch and see and suddenly your status will change!!

It was the same process. My husband sent me an updated signed i864a one week before the interview and if I would have checked one more time... he could have sent this also...I feel so discouraged by this :( the officer said it was minor and should be resolved in 3-4 weeks but the 221g says it takes 6-8 weeks.....

Any updates on your case status? I am slo in AP for proof of domicile, sent jan 30, received Feb 5. My case status was updated yesterday Feb 19, still in AP.

March 13, 2015- US citizen spouse moved back to California, sent consulate confirmation that domicile now reestablished.

March 30, 2015 - email from consulate stating that they have adequate proof of domicile, still in AP.

Status updates (without enquiry from anyone): April 27, May 6, May 7, May 13

May 13- Ready

May 14 Issued.

POE May 15, 2015

ELIS fee paid May 30

Green card production ordered July 23

Visa status went to ready on Wednesday and Issued yesterday. Just waiting on my passport now :)
