Hi everyone, I am a US citizen and I am barely starting to look into the K1 visa application process. Can anyone please help me by telling me all the required forms for the US citizen applying and all the forms needed by the alien resident in the Philippines? I do know that i need to fill out the I-129F form, the I-134 affidavit of support form but then I read about another affidavit form I-864??? Do I also need to fill out the I-864 after filling out the I-134? G-325A is a must I guess I'm only a little confused by the I-134 I-864 issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

Initial application you need I-129F, G325a for both of you, and supporting documents.

I-134 will be requires for the interview stage (although check Philippines forum, there has been a discussion about this)

I-864 is used once your fiance becomes your wife and you are completing AOS (Adjustment of Status) for her.

Welcome and good luck!

Thank you for clearing things up for me on the initial K1 process, this info helps a lot. So how soon should my fiancee in the Philippines begin to fill out the DS-160, DS-156, DS-156k forms after I submit the I-129F? Immediately after, or a few months later closer to interview time? and is that all of forms required for my fiancee? I know I am asking many questions but I just want to be 100% sure to avoid any delays or denials due to lack of paperwork.

For the I-129F petition at USCIS the guide here on VJ works pretty good. From your fiancee you need a original G-325A, original Letter of Intent to Marry, 2X2 passport photo, and copy of finality of annulment (if your fiancee was married before).

The I-134 is the only financial form listed in the embassy instructions letter for the visa application, but it is not needed for the petition at USCIS.

Once you get your petition filed, pop over to the Philippines forum and say HI
