I-134 & I-864 - Affidavit of Support Form for K1 Visa

Hi All,

From reading I think K-1 visas will only need the I-134 right? Should we also fill out the I-864? My fiance makes enough money to support (much more than the 20K I've read.)

We are approved now and are starting to get the next packages ready. We are filling out I-134, but now I'm wondering if we need the I-864 as I've seen this mentioned as well.

My understanding is for the K-1 visa, you will only require the I-134 to be completed. You will need the I-864 when you do AOS.

For K-1 fiancée visa you will only need the I-134 form for the interview. Later after you are in the states and married, you will do AOS then you will need the I-864 form

If you was doing the IR-1/CR-1 spousal visa then you would need the I-864 form at NVC and interview

The 134 is for the K-1 interview, the 864 is for AOS after you are married.
