I GOT A RFE UGH!!!

I CHECKED THE MAIL AND TODAY I RECEIVED A RFE I DONT KNOW IF I SHOULD PANIC OR WHAT..I GUESS I FORGOT TO SEND IN MY MARRIAGE CERTIFICATION DIDN'T KNOW THAT I HAD TO SO NOW WHAT HOW LONG DOES IT NORMALLY TAKE THEM ONCE YOU GET AN RFE??

No need to panic at all. Just submit it per procedures. From what I read, an RFE can prolong the processing 60 days, but no one knows for sure. Just be patient and it will be OK.

Can I ask if you didn't send proof of marriage what evidence did you send to show you are married and in a bonafide relationship?

I ask because this is the case file that will be going to the embassy and a CO will make a decision based on the evidence given to them.

No i sent the original caise thats what i was told and i heard il get it back

Unfortunately now you will need to get another certified copy for Interview. USCIS will not be sendng you the original back nor forwarding it to NVC.

Hmmmm don;t know who told you that misinformation but no matter log as they have it. Just know its gone now. Sorry. USCIS just needs copies never originals. Their instructions even state to only send copies.

You do have a copy of t though for the NVC stage right? And like I said you will also need another certified copy for the interview since you will be sending a copy to NVC when you get to that stage. I would get that now while you are waiting since that's coming up son.
