Hi guys

I have a question regarding using the co-sponsor. So, when all documents are filed to Dallas Lock Box, in the guide it does not say that you need to send in the affidavit of suppport but you send it to you fiance to take to the interview in the embassay? is that correct? so following that I understand that you also send to your fiance the affidavit of support from your co-sponsor?

So, do we need to inform them somehow that we will use co-sponos in the initial stage? While filing the pettion? I can't find that anywhere.

Correct. Financials are not part of the I-129F petition.

You and your co-sponsor will provide an I-134 plus supporting documentation for your foreign fiance(e) to take to the K-1 visa interview. They are presented together. There is no need to inform anyone ahead of time that a co-sponsor will be used. Info for your consulate > http://poland.usembassy.gov/poland/docs_checklist_fiance.html

Thank you.

My another question is about the police records? It says that you need the police certificate from all the countries that you lived over 1 year. So I have never been aressted or charged with anything in my life.

I live in US for a one period od time (6,5 months) and then again (6 months). on two separet occasions. so technically it is over a year, but i do not know if it is required for US?

They ask for the police certificate because they want to see whether you have a clean record. It's a good thing you have never been arrested but you will still need to obtain one from the police.

I already stated that police certificates are not needed from the US.

You switched the country in your profile since I replied to this. If you are actually going through London, then this is the guide for you > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/

London will easily accept a co-sponsor. London will even accept that person's I-134 with proof of income and nothing required from the fiancé if he/she can't meet the requirements. Not really even a co- but just a sponsor. You could sponsor yourself with a good amount of savings.

There is no published amount. Whatever it takes to convince the interviewer. A few I have personally read told what they had. Others never say.

$40-50k.

One had a contract on his house sale which counted.

Another had $8k but continuing income from software as it sells plus US fiancé with small income.
