Expediting the Filing Process from Australia

Hi All,

I've read a TON of forum posts here, and I recall seeing some information with 'theory' of what might expedite the filing process for the CR-1.

I live with my wife IN Australia. I'm a U.S. Citizen. Is there anything I can do that might expedite the process?

I believe on suggested thing was to use our AUSTRALIAN address on the I-130.

I could have sworn I saw somewhere that submitting the application to one lock box over another might speed the process a bit too.

One poster told me the place to submit the petition is the following... and I'd like to see if there is a consensus here that it is the correct location?

If the petitioner lives overseas then the petition (you are submitting a petition not an application) goes to the lockbox facility in Chicago per instructions.

While the odds may be favorable that your file will end up in the auto-expedite queue, there is no guarantee that will happen.

Ariani: thank you! Has this been known to help? I'm curious if you found that listed on the official government websites, or if it was shared here by other members?

Just needing clarity if it's a 'possible' way to speed up, or if it has been objectively known to 'definitely speed it up.
