You will not receive notification to go to your medical exam. Register with SLEC online. No appointment is needed. Try to take care of this two to three weeks before your embassy interview.

Hi, thanks for your initial response. How do we coordinate the medical exam and interview? Does it matter how far apart they are? I guess Im confused at the remainder of the process and coordinating them. How will I know when to go to the medical exam and then get the interview? Dont know if my questions are making sense? Any light you can shed will be helpful. Also, if you can help, do I contact embassy for making interview appointment? Thanks so much!

Whenever you get approved to nvc and got a MNL number then yes you can donyou medical at SLEC. I had mine done a week befofe my interview enough for SLEC ti forward your results to US embassy. I didn't do any appointment I just went to SLEC really early at like 2am. Some people were earlier than us and the security guard gave us priority number and got done early and had to come back early thr next day for results. If you go there a little late too many people and its possible you would come back in the afternoon the next day. FYI if they didn't change it SLEC is close Friday. Goodluck!

No real need to get there at 2 AM. 4 to 5 AM is more than enough to get a good place on line. You can actually show up as late as 9 AM and still get served, but you get a bad place on line and will be there all day.

EIther one of you can fill out the online registration. I (petitioner) filled it out for my wife. Does not matter.

While you can wait until one week before the interview to have it done, if you are in Manila anyway, going two to three weeks in advance is actually better. The only time you really can't go (if you are female) is during your period.

Hi Charmike :) I'm done with my medical yesterday... you can book your medical once you have the MNL case number. Interview appointment letter is not mandatory..

Just bring the ff:

passport

Money (Php 11, 025)

4pcs 2x2 passport pic, make sure ur ears are showing and then write ur name at the back

2 photo copies of passport bio page, use short bond paper

3 copies of SLEC online appointment

3 copies of NVC letter

Black ballpen, water, crackers

DS 160 confirmation page

Don't book your medical on MOnday & Tuesday ( SLEC is very crowded during those days)

For interview:

You can either book online or call the USEM hotline...

hope this helps :) keep us posted :)
