Help! so confused about my case status.

I applied for CR-1, my AOS status changed from "paid" to "n/a" on the 16th last week. Today NVC sent me this email "Dear Sir/Madam,

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview."

I don't really understand what this email means. Anyone who has received this email should please explain to me. I am so curious about this email. Thanks for your response.

This means your case is complete! congrats. Now you just have to wait for your interview to be scheduled. What is your scan date?

Don't really understand what is a scan date. But my priority date is 13th feb, 2014.

scan date is when the NVC recives your documents.. they send an email with your scan date

i have heard that NVC will send another email within 7 -10 days with information about your interview.

Don't really understand what is a scan date. But my priority date is 13th feb, 2014.

According to what I've read, Priority Date doesn't apply to IR--1/CR-1 visa category. A visa # is always available for this category (the spouse of a US Citizen). Scan date is the date when the NVC scans your document into their system, and the time period they allot to review those documents, is 60 days. Hope this helps,

I checked my AOS status thru my case number and also receipt number. I used my case and receipt number to sign in on the nvc site.
