Reviewing process at NVC

Do they start with documents reviewing at a scan date or do they just put the case on pile and wait 60 days? I don`t have scan date yet (should be scanned in day or two)

I`m asking this because I have sent request for embassy changing and today NVC rep told me it will take aprox 30 days to review my request. AOS and IV papers won`t be reviewed before the first request is done.

I hope 30 days will be counted in these 60 days and won`t cause significant delay in my process.

Oni ce tebi javiti u toku 60 dana da li imate slucaj zavrsen bez obzirs kad pregledaju u toku tih 60 dana jer takva su pravila.mi smo cekali 50 dana .pregled traje od 45 do 60 dana, kako ko.ako bude sve ok dobicete raspored za intervju ako ne bude dobicete checklist.

I spoke with NVC now.....arggh I'm angry. They said embassy change review will take aprox 30-40 days. All of my papers will be put at side meanwhile.....and 60 days clock will start after the embasy change review will be done. SERIOUSLY????

I think I will recheck this info tomorrow again:/

Ok..cause I have to practice my English I called again hahaha

Nice rep took his time (yeap first time it was man to man talk) and check with someone (I was on hold again 5min). This time I got answer that there is no time frame for the decision and that it will not delay our process.

10 calls, almost 10 different answers:lol:....it is NVC!!! . But anyway it is nice to hear something positive....true or not true:)

Lets hope for no delay and keep checking NVC time to time.

Did you get email when NVC got your documents before any embassy change request you made ? which scan date you are talking about?

I emailed embassy change request on 12/4 and there was no answer till 1/22 when I received email from them that my request is under review. On the same date1/22 NVC also received my AOS/IV documents by UPS.

Don't have scan date yet.......
