My Filipino fiance heard, from a friend, that she was asked for a singleness document or something. I check the US Embassy in Hong Kong, and they have nothing about a singleness document, or what it even is.

Its called the CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage) aka certificate of singleness. She can request from NSO. It is a requirement for her embassy interview.

Most likely they are talking about the cenomar (certificate of no marriage). which is require in the Philippines are you filing for her in the Philippines or Hong-Kong? My sister in law is from the Philippines but came over here from Hong-Kong I am not sure of the procedure her and my brother did. I will ask them when I can. I am not living in the same city as they are now, I am not sure if she had her interview in the Philippines or Hong-Kong
