Number of Americans murdered by firearms, 2000-2011: 115,997

Let's add Boston(5) and the young lady who was beheaded(1), and Benghazi since it happened on our soil(4). That's 40 people in a 13 year time span who have been killed by a terrorist attack. Since 2011, there have been roughly 35,000 gun deaths a year. So add that to the pile. You're more likely to be struck by lightning than be killed by a muslim. But by all means, carry on.

Who said anything about how many Americans have been killed? we're talking about global terrorism. Are there more islamic militants than others? it's a very simple yes or no question. Are there more islamic terrorist groups around the world that have killed alot more people than other groups have? yes or no. But then again those same policies that prevent the domestic number from being higher are also the policies being criticized by the same people who will shove those numbers in your face when they are trying to convince you islamic terrorism is a non event. This is getting old.
