Lets ignore the fact that Islamic terrorism is a huge global problem and just pretend that there's exactly as many islamic terrorists as there are jewish, christian or any other religion. Talk about burying your head in the sand.

so what if we all pull our heads out of the sand and realize islam is where the terror comes from. now what?

I don't know - governments commit acts of terrorism pretty regularly, especially against their own people. It isn't just a Muslim thing, not even close.

i have a feeling our particular brand of occupation and assistance is what ultimately feeds terror recruiting. but my head is in the sand so maybe we should just keep doing what we do and hope eventually they give up? yeah. that should work.

We do killing well. We are not very good at occupying and nation building, although we mean well and do accomplish some good things. I have a friend of mine that teaches a master's program in Kabul. He teaches the teachers to teach English. The majority of people he runs into are grateful we are there. However, they are afraid that when we leave, things will simply return back to the way things were before we came.

i don't doubt that for one instant. but, for example, our treatment of translators promised special immigrant visas who we instead leave for dead- shows how little we actually value their work and dedication.

and not just the translators, but our own military, considering how much our military must rely on translators to do their jobs.

 I swear people get dumber everyday.

ikr. it's a simple question. i keep asking, no one will answer me.

Their denial is amazing. They pretend Islamic terrorism doesn't exist at all.

Liberalism is a mental disorder and Muslims are not allowed to criticize their religion...... a bad mixture.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

Some people are just not very good students of history, I guess.
