I have a question concerning my Asawa's passport. She immigrated over 2 years ago and we are going through the ROC Green Card na, and we are travelling back to the Philippines in June. She has yet to get her passport changed over to our married name. My question is will that be a problem when we go to the Philippines and come back?

No as long as you carry your marriage certificate with you and your passport has more than 6 months remaining after your return to the states.

No, you will need to carry a copy of your marriage certificate and the name on the airline ticket must match the name on the passport.

Yeah she has more than 6 months after she comes back from the Philippines. I will make sure we bring the marriage certificate along with us. Thanks for the info.
We had a problem because we moved across the country from NC to CA literally 4 days after we got married, and according to the Consulate website they will ONLY process marriage certificates from the sw region. Does anybody know if this is true or not?

You must complete ROM (Report Of Marriage) at the consulate representing the state where you got married, but this can all be done through the mail so very easy to do. For NC is that Washington?

Passport has to be renewed in person, but that can be at the consulate representing the state where you live now.
