Philippine travel 10 year Green Card but expird PI Passport

I have a question that I am sure you all have seen before, but I can't find it online or get a response from the Philippine consulate/embassy. I have lived in the US for 4 years now and I have my Permanent Resident card (with 10 year extension). I have not applied for my citizenship yet. My husband and I would like to travel both back to the Philippines and other places in Asia but my Philippine Passport is expired.

Am I able to travel with my green card and an expired Philippine passport? If I am, can I travel to other countries other than the Philippines?

If I am required to renew my passport, what is the best way to do that? I have heard that you must now show in person for all renewals. Where do I go?

Thanks for all the assistance. We are going in circles here!

As per philippine consulates or embassy in the us you need to apply for passport personally.

You need a valid passport to travel anywhere. You cant enter a country using an expired passport. Even if you have a greencard. That would not be of any help if your passport is expired.

So better renew it now :)

Some airline wont even let you get on board if your passport is less than 6 months to expiration, much more with expired passport. Renew it and yes, you have to apply in person and required your presence
