How to upgrade my signature

My signature is not so long, shorter than others (see below),

and I'm just looking to add the next timeline event "NOA received...,etc.",

but the system tells me my signature is too long and won't let me modify it.

Is this a bug? Has something changed since I last updated it, as I wasn't over any quota then but now I'm 30% over the allotted 1500 characters (look at it, I'm not using that many).

Thanks!

Its not the length of the signature that is putting you over the 1500 limit, its the script.....all the color tags etc as they are included in the character count.

oh.......what may help you a little. See the dark grey around your flags....the tags doing that create quiet a few extra characters. Here's what you can do. Copy and paste the bulk of your signature into notepad only from 'K-1 visa timeline' down. Delete all your signature and start again. Redo your flags (this time it wont contain the script that is creating the gray area)...then copy and paste your signature from notepad back into your signature box. We all had that issue when we first came to the new site.

I fixed up your siggy. Like Aussie said there were a lot of extra things in there that I removed that did not effect how your siggy looked. You should be good to go :).

Thanks Captain!

But I was still within 40 characters of the limit! So I deleted the URL hyperlink for "NVC" and "EAD" and now I'm OK. I hate deleting the clickthru, but otherwise the tags take up all my allocation. Thanks
