It's confusing! They seem a bit all over the place. Processing filers from August, September, October, November in no particular order. Around the time we applied, my visajourney timeline was suggesting we'd probably have my noa2 by right around now but then they just slowed down.

I've seen several November approvals lately like you mentioned, so this might mean things are speeding up. Not that they're already officially on November/December obviously, but isn't this normally what happens? A few "random" cases start getting approved in the months just after what they're working on and then it snowballs from there? The rerouting of new cases to CSC might be having an impact afterall (though I'm still angry when I think about them giving old TSC filers false hope). Who knows, we might be the first group to fall back into the "normal" processing time of 5 months.

Thanks for this! I was looking for that thread.

I'm also in New York... just moved to Albany :-) Edit: whoops just noticed you're talking about NJ! shows how much of a noob I am to the northeast.

I like the way you think muhkoo!

Haha thanks! I'm trying to stay positive for the first time in a little while. If nothing else, I think the "transfer" may be improving morale at TSC and causing them to be more productive!

Okay - Hello Decemberists.

Fellow decemberer here. Just curious to know who is at where in their process?

Ours was received on December 22, 2014 and we have heard nothing since. After the 5 month mark passed, we started calling them and were basically told nothing will be done for us because 8 months is now the standard. HOWEVER, I am now seeing that some of you have been getting your approvals - and I am pleading with you to share your experiences. What are you doing to get your approvals? According to USCIS and visa journey - Texas has just barely started looking at November applications. And yet! Some of you guys have gotten lucky. Please let us what you did - did you approach a lawyer for help? Did you call them every day incessantly? Did you apply to expedite your petitions? (Philippines applicants can disregard this last part).

Please - anyone and everyone! Tell us!

And congratulations of course!
