Hi guys

i had my interview for cr1and i was given a 221g paper and was asked to find a joint sponsor,

Now everything is ready to be sent to embassay.

there is a lil confusion in my mind bothering me i want a piece of advice on that,

On 221g paper it is written "copies of official IRS tax transcripts/returns", but the tax return papers of 2013 i recieved from my sponsor are stamped with saying: "Proof of Delievry only " and "This is not an Official Reciept"

will they work or not?

oh and there is also a stamp of Internal Revenue Service with address on every page.

your joint sponsor need to go the the IRS webpage and request and print out Copies of the IRS transcripts. Make sure he chooses the immigration version. He can set things to print them right way.

It might be but why risk an RFE for sending the wrong thing. It is so easy to print out the right forms that I would not risk it.

Unerstand but this would be the best way to go. It could cause delays if what you submit is not right. Also with the forms you need to provide more info. IE. Pay stubs and W-2's The transcript does not require these.

You can either send in the entire tax return (which includes any schedules, forms, w2s etc) or you can send in the tax return transcript. If he can't access them but would rather send those, he can visit any IRS office and receive them at that time. YOu do not have to send the originals, they can be photocopies.

thanx for ur kind advice..so it means the tax return paper i have is fine? its only stamped "this is not official" only one 2013 while its not on 2012 and 2011. I am also sendin w2 of recent three years and pay stubs of recent months and current employment letter too.

I have no idea if stamping them in this manner makes them unacceptable or not. We chose to use tax return transcripts because it was signifigantly less paperwork.

I would not submit these -- you say they specifically asked for "official" IRS documents and the ones you have specifically say they are NOT "official" documents. You need to get the official version, IMO, to move the case along. Anything less will likely only result in long delays.

This is fine. Like NLR advised you, if you send in the tax return you need the w2s- which you have so its fine.

You will have no problems if you have all the paperwork and it seems you do.

Dont worry about the stamp on the 2013 paperwork. Its just a stamp that shows the tax return was brought in to a local IRS office in person rather then mailed in. Thats why it has an address on it. It says proof of delivery and this is not an official receipt because the taxpayer paid in person with a check.

If you feel uncomfortable with it- enclose a note with the return stating the stamp is from the IRS walk-in office or ask them to get a transcript for that year.

Some taxpayers may insist on receiving proof that their non-cash payment has been delivered to our office. Each TAC should be equipped with a date stamp that reads "PROOF OF DELIVERY ONLY - THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL RECEIPT." You may stamp a photocopy of the taxpayer's check or money order with this stamp as proof of delivery. If the taxpayer insists on receiving an official receipt and the TAC is not required to have an 809 receipt book, you should:.... etc etc

You can also enclose a print out of the IRS manual showing the reference to the stamp? But Im sure theyve seen it before..

Non-Cash Payments
