Hello Everyone. I'm trying to apply for US citizenship because I need to apply K1 for my fiancée, and join the army reserve (the job 25B which I'm interested in also required citizenship), but while I fill n-400 I find out I was required to register selective service which I didn't. I didn't know I was required to do it, and now I just passed 26 birthday. My immigrant status between ages 18-26 is green card. Has anyone experience this situation? Please give me some advice^^

Usually you will have to wait for 5 years after your could have filed for SS to show that you have good moral character. Joining the army reserve may offer a fast track past this but you should talk to the recruiter about that. You signed that you understood the requirement for SS when you got your green card and the welcome to the US materials state the requirement so you are considered to have known the requirement. As a green card holder you can marry and apply for a spouse but having a foreign spouse may affect your ability to get some clearances.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
