What country is your fiancé from? You will get better advice if we know where your fiancé is interviewing as a lot of this is embassy specific.

In general, you will likely be required to submit the most recent tax return and W2 (this is how it is in Philippines). You can also submit employment letters and pay stubs to further prove your current income.

Follow the embassy instructions letter! In your case that would be the embassy in Manila

Hi Zedayn thanks for responding,

Okay, will my most recent income tax return and W2 be sufficient enough?. As far as submitting a letter from my employer and pay stubs, is this a plus in addition to my tax return and W2 or is it a must?

Your most recent tax return and W2 should be sufficient if it is above the poverty guidelines for your household size. The employer letter and pay stubs are not a requirement, they are only additional evidence to help you get approved. The only requirement is most recent tax return and W2.

On the Form I-134 Affidavit of Support (Rev 5/25/11), page 2, under: Oath or Affirmation of Sponsor where it states " I acknowledge that I have read "Sponsor and alien Liability" on page 2 of the instructions for this form, and am aware of my responsibilities as a sponsor under the Social Security Act, as amended, and the Food Stamp Act, as amended. _______________________

What is the purpose of the "Line" following the word "amended"? Is the sponsor required to provide certain information on that line? If so, what is the required information USCIS is asking for on that line?

I will be attaching the required recent W-2 form to the I-134 Affidavit of Support form of which I will be submitting. My W-2 form has sensitive information such as my social security number (SSN), is it highly advisable that I "black-out" my SSN for the purpose of preventing identity theft in case my W-2 form gets lost and falls into the wrong hands? Will USCIS reject my I-134 with my W2 form if I black-out my SSN? Also, which filing copy of the W2 form do they require be submitted with the I-134, the Federal, State, City/Local copy or does it not matter?

You need more than just the W2,,,,you need to send in a copy of your entire income tax return....all documents....or the free IRS tax transcripts.

Do not black out anything. USCIS knows more about you than you even know.
