IV Fee

Hello everybody ,

I have couple of question and I hope I can get some answers about them ,,,,,

---My IV FEE says PAY NOW but every time I click on it it just kicks me out of my login can anyone explains to me what that means please ?!!

--- Can I send the IV application and documents before I even pay that fee???

Once ur D-261 has been accepted it will stop knocking u out & u will be able to pay. About sending the IV packet in before payment, I personally didn't but I know others have. I was scared to take a chance of it getting set aside because they instruct u to send it in after payment. Hope this helps

Have the same problem. Sent package and sent check for IV fee. got tired of waiting. Can always send another IV packet if needed since copies ok now.

DS-261 needs to be accepted first before any fee payments can be made. That normally takes 30 days.

They told me i can send ALL civil doxuments and affidvit of support although i was only able to pay AOS fee. They say the reason it "kicks you out" while trying to pay the IV fees is because of a glitch in their system. I hav calld various times and all of the representatives give me the same response. That the DEPARTMENT OF STATE is working on it but to send all documents in the mean time and once the glitch is fixd we will be sent another invoice to be able to pay the remaining "IV" fee.

Its also a way to kill time. So im glad theyr doing it this way.
