Oh yes I read it carefully, that's why I was wondering why everyone was congratulating us when we haven't actually been approved yet.

Hopefully it will be updated later on today so we can actually have a official answer.

I have heard other people say AP is the step right before it is issued but after what happened I read every word.....I hope that is just standard legal talk to cover themselves in case something goes wrong but I will not rest until it says ISSUED!!

After the visa has been approved it is change to a nonimmigrant visa.

It will change from ready to admin processing to issued.

AP usually only lasts about a day or two.

If it was AP today then I wouldn't expect issued until Tuesday.

Then about 5-8 days for passport.

Ours went from AP to Issued the next business day....so if it went to AP today there is a very good chance it will say issued on Monday! Sounds like they may be rushing yours to have it go from NonImmigrant to AP the same day....good luck!

My fiancé got "denied" because all he had was the SAR. there was a mix up at Knightsbridge & they never have him his police certificate back. He assumed it would be sent with everything else & it wasn't. The lady told him that she needed the actual certificate (which says no live trace) to prove its him. Hopefully with her having both it won't be an issue. He called acpo as soon as he got home & they mailed it to them-should be there Monday/Tuesday. I'm hoping it won't take long to be approved...I'm worried.

I am the petitioner.

When you attend the medical, knightsbridge makes a copy of the police certificate and hands it back to you.

I am very surprised that their standard procedures weren't followed. Are you sure Matt just didn't misplace it when they gave it back to him?

He would have had to have the correct one at the exam and they don't keep them.

Strange, but I hope the police certificate gets to them soon and there are no further delays.

Absolutely positive. He's the one out of god knows how many that they forgot to return it to. He had a folder with him & it's not with the other paperwork they gave to him. But it's ok...a new one will arrive there next week. I'm just hoping it doesn't add too much time to the process...sadly, I did make plans for January 19th. Granted, I can cancel them if I have to, but I'd rather not...
