The Electronic I-94, and finding the I-94 number

Hi all,

So this is probably a very silly question, but I have to ask. Now that the I-94 is electronic, we shouldn't have gotten anything stapled into my husband's passport at our POE, right? All we got was a stamp which says when the visa expires.

When we look up the I-94 online, it does list a 12 digit number ending in 30. Does that sound right? On the I-94 lookup page it calls it the "Admission (I-94) Record Number"

Additionally, should we print the I-94 page to send along with our AOS paperwork?

Finally, (last question), the I-485 says to list his name exactly as it is printed on the visa. In Cambodia, they put their last names first, and in the US, we do the opposite. On his visa it just says Surname and Given Name. Should I put his last name first like they do in Cambodia, or his first name first like we do here? Gah! What a headache. :) The things we do for love.

Thanks everyone!

Hi!

Yes, it is the "Admission (I-94) Record Number." My husband's was 11 digits, but yes, it ends in 30.

Yes, you have to send the I-94 in with your paperwork. :)

Sorry, I don't know the answer to the second part.

Good luck!

I found this checklist helpful on VJ:

In my husbands US passport and in my Australian passport both say surname first.

Regardless of how it is printed, what they are asking is for the correct and legal First- middle-surname so you would write your husbands surname on his forms as it is legally regardless of the printed order of the names.
