I got these from the instruction manual. If somebody already went through the process , he / she can correct me.

Also you can get your daughter a US passport it would be easier , faster and cheaper

Depending on your situation you may have two choices:

Please tell me if this is correct:

1- you are not a U.S. citizen.

2- your husband just became a U.S. citizen.

3- the child is your daughter and your husband's daughter.

4- the child is 19 months old.

5- the child was a permanent resident when her father became a citizen.

If all of this is correct, then you do not have to apply for a certificate of citizenship through the N600 application. This is optional and you can do it if you want to have a certificate but you don't need it.

If you want to apply for a certificate of citizenship, you must file an N600 form - follow these instruction:.

http://www.uscis.gov/n-600

They will do an interview and they will do a ceremony and they will send you a certificate. They will not send you a passport. That is a separate application with a separate fee.

If you don't want to apply for a certificate of citizenship then there is no need for the N600 (and assuming that the 5 points above are correct), you can apply for a passport for your daughter immediately. This is because permanent residents under the age of 18 years become citizens automatically when one of their parents becomes a citizen. So you can take your daughter's birth certificate plus a translation and your husbands naturalization certificate to a passport office and apply there.

So depending on the situation, you may be able to save some money and skip the N600. But we will need more details to understand the situation.

Yes all of them are correct but when we apply for passport they tell us to fill form n600 I want to know what are documents needed to join with this form thanks

That's not true. All you need for the passport is 1- the child birth certificate 2- the certificate of naturalization of the father. 3- the child green card

My guess that you went to the post office which they are not very familiar with child citzenship law. Try to go to another one.

If you decided to go for n600 , then you can write a personal check for $ 600
