Is the I-693 needed for K1 applicants filing for AOS if the medical was completed abroad? My wife has all of her immunizations, TB x rays, blood work etc. from Moscow. Everything was fine according to the panal of doctors. The problem is that all the doctors over here want to charge $200-500 to check some boxes on a different sheet of paper. We have the completed forms DS3025,DS3030 and that whole packet so it seems really silly to pay AGAIN for the same thing she did 3 months ago. Does anybody have any experience with this?

You might require to have flu shot since it is flu season now.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

Read page 4, section 7c of the I-485 instructions, all that is required is a copy of the DS-3025. I suggest you print out a copy of page 4 with section 7c highlighted and attach it to the DS-3025, some adjudicators at USCIS are not even aware of this. ;)

If you had all the required shots marked off on your DS-3025 at the time of your K-1 medical, then just send a copy of your DS-3025. If it was not flu season when you got the K-1 exam, then no need to get one now, as it says in the linked post to Nich-Nick's detailed instructions above. That would mean you would need to see a civil surgeon for an I-693 if you did. If everything was current at the time of your K-1 exam, then that is what matters.

~ Moved from K-1 Process to AOS from Family Based Visas - topic is AOS, not K-1 ~
