Mailing address for I-129f

Hi everyone-

I've been working on the I-129f package and I pretty sure that I have almost everything together!

Just one question- may be basic- but I'm finding conflicting info.

As far as the mailing address. I planned to send the pkg express mail to the Texas lockbox.

When my fiancee wrote and signed his letter of intent (he gave it to me before he had to leave the country on my birthday

we used the Texas address on the letter.....

But.....given that I live in Maine, it looks like my petition will actually be process in Vermont.

May be obvious- but just want to double check- do I still send the package to Texas, is the Express mail address the best?

Also- Hopefully it's ok that he used the Texas address on his letter of intent? Should I use the same address or should I put in Vermont address

For example he used the Texas address ----- Is this ok!?

Yes, that is fine. It doesn't even NEED an address, as long as you direct the

message to either To Whom... or just the USCIS. It's not like they care about

that part.. just the message itself, and the signature..

Elizabeth is correct. And by the way, your petition will go to Texas Service Center, not Vermont.

There are only two service centers currently processing I-129F petitions. Those are the TSC and the CSC. You should follow the instructions from the USCIS for the I-129F. ALL I-129F petitions are mailed to the Dallas Lockbox, it makes no difference where you live > http://www.uscis.gov/i-129f

Where to File

File Form I-129F at the USCIS Dallas Lockbox facility:

For U.S. Postal Service (USPS):

For USPS Express Mail and courier deliveries:
USCIS

Also, addresses on the letters of intent are not a requirement. You can use the address you mail the I-129F to, or put no address at all.
