Hi everyone,

I just got married last monday and I am trying to fill out the AOS documents.

I am just confused whether I should use my maiden name or my married name which is my maiden name and my husband name with an hyphen.

So far, everything was under my maiden name as I was not married, but on the marriage certificate the new name is stated, and I guess that it is my official new name.

Thanks for your help.

If you changed your name when you married, then that is your new name and the one to use on everything from now on. Put your maiden name only where it asks for maiden or other names used.

From the guide > http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos

3. Form I-485: Petition for Alien Relative (note: use the non US Citizen spouse's married name on this form and list previous name/names)
