Got a hold of NVC on phone again - it is officially "Lost" and the man said not to bother calling again, because it is now in the hands of the "Research" team. They will write, when and if they find it. What kind of ####### is that? He also said to call USIC again, because all too often they send out notice and say was sent to NVC, but it is still in California on someones desk. I tried tier 2 already they were polite and said they'd "Look into it" (I am sure file 13). I am so frustrated.....

I just talked to USCIS and they said my I-797 approved 11/3, was "Pulled Back" and had to be re-evaluated. It was Reapproved 1/9/15 - last Friday. He said a new I-797 will be sent and it "SHOULD" be on the way to NVC within a week or 2. A week or 2 to drop in the mail?????? Unbelieveable....

NVC spotted something in the petition that USCIS missed and sent it back.. this is not the first time I heard of this. Well good thing your petition has been found, and it is finally approved... again... ;)

Another thread said petitions for Philippine nationals are now being expedited. Doesn't sound like that's the case here. I'm sorry you're going through all this. It's amazing how hard they make this process. Amazing.

I have my "New" I-797. It now has an approval date of 1/9/15, instead of 11/3/14. I am not sure what this means, but my Senators office said they would look into it....

It means you have MORE time to complete the visa application... that is a good thing. (even though you most likely won't care ;) )
