Go to the USCIS website and create a profile if you don't have one yet. Once you create a profile, you will see your case. Click on the case, and you will see towards the bottom of the case (Case History) the inquiries you've opened and whether is has been assigned to an officer for a response. I was told that the officer to whom the inquiry was assigned to is the same person working the case.

Thank you

Did you follow up after 30 days? If yes, what did they say? Just want to know what to expect if that happens to me.

I did, and I called them back to put in another inquiry. I will again on the 21st if I dont hear anything that's what the officer told me.

and this is why i don't see the point in the inquires (though of course i'll keep starting them)...they obviously mean nothing to them...if they don't look at yours they just start another one...its such a joke...

True... At this point, I currently have 3 different offices has already sent their inquiry to TSC. And the other two was when I called and talked to a tier 2. They seems to working on Jan now. This whole journey at TSC is a joke. I am 3 more days to my 8 months.

Hi,

It had been three weeks since we received our NOA2 approval. I called the NVC center, and I was able to get my case number from the lady along with my INV number (???).

We are in the Bogota Colombia Embassy, Anyone have any idea how long before we should hear from the Bogota Consulate or what I should be doing in the meantime?

Thanks in advance..

What am I missing in the process? My NOA1 was received on the 13th. Why can't my case be adjudicated. I see that other I-129F filers with the same series as mine have already been adjudicated. If it's a background check that the TSC is waiting on, I completely understand that, especially in my line of work. And, if that is the case, just please tell me. Where there is a regulatory requirement for financial institutions to provide disclosure within x number of days to their customers, shouldn't this also be the case for the government? Shouldn't we be advised of the status of our case? Why is the government held to a different standard from those who are required to comply with it? This is just unfair and borderline unconstitutional. I've reached out to my Senator's office, sent an email to the ombudsperson of the DHS, all on top of opening a case inquiry. I don't know if anyone has had experience with either avenues, and am also considering sending a request out to the DHS under the FOIA. Thoughts?

I feel your pain,I see January filers approved and it really hurts.... how long ago did you contact your senator's office? Apparently it takes about 2 to 4 weeks before they can give you any answer

That is a long time! I always hear that it depends on who you get. I contacted my congresswoman office on June 9th too. I followed up and the lady I spoke to basically told me to just wait it out and they probably won't be able to do anything anyway -_- So I completely understand where you're coming from.
