Hello, I applied for the US citizenship based on marriage after 3 years of living in the states, did the bio, and waiting for the interview date, the problem that its taking its sweet time, but am about to move out to another area, I heard that after I notify USCIS about moving, they'll dismiss my case and probably will never hear anything from them again about this case, is that right?

Note: its almost 4 months since I did the biometric, does it normally takes that long to set up an interview date? I was wondering cuz my case has no records or any criminal background or anything, had just one time a speeding ticket and I paid the fine.

That doesn't sound right. USCIS needs notice of moving so that they can send all information to the appropriate address. It wouldn't make sense for them to dismiss your case if you're moving to another area of the United States.

Just change your address and keep an eye on the online status in case if you didn't get notices from them. Your interview should be assigned in the USCIS office that has jurisdiction over your case. It shouldn't be a problem

Find your Field Office and you can estimate your timeline from there.

I.e., For the Newark office, N-400 is taking approximately 5 months. Therefore, it will take about 5 months from when they process your N-400 to your interview. Note that Newark does same day oath taking. Other offices do not do that. Once you are approved, you will get on another line for the oath taking.
