I-94 number different than online;/

I was suprised to see it- my Admission I-94 is different than this which I have in the passport. which one of those should I use for my paperwork (I-486 etc)

I left the us only once for the past two years ( vacation in Mexico). Is it possible they gave ma a new number?

when I looked at my I-94 I remember you can get last entry in the country or all the times that passport has been used to enter the states.

I would print both options if I was you and send it.

Ive just found some inf on the internet that the new number is given every time you reenter the us. So i guess a new no was given to me as I came back from my vacation. So everywhere they ask me, I put the new number. However, I do not know what I should write on the form I-130 under no 14- Arrival/ departure record?

old number which is in my passport or the new one?

Each time you enter the US, your passport is scanned and the CBP issues you and I-94 (arrival/departure record) with a number associated with that arrival. Now if you should leave the I-94 you used to enter will be canceled and the date you left will be entered on the I-94 electronic version. When you enter again a new I-94 is generated and you are authorized to remain in the US until the expiration date for the I-94. #14 is for the most recent and valid arrival record or I-94 in which you have yet to leave. I would put the information of the one you received when you returned from vacation.

I vote that you show the last number date wise. That's the one that tells your last entry into USA. As supplemental info, you could provide other numbers and dates of arrivals/departures.
