Hi everyone, I just got my biometrics appointment letter and I'm just wondering if it's also the AOS Interview or is that completely different?

I was told to bring certain documents like the copy of my appointment letter and ID's but I'm wondering if I should also bring some proof of marriage or other important documents as well?

It is just fingerprinting and nothing else. All you need is ID and appointment notice. Your interview notice - when you get it - will clearly list what you need to bring.

Biometrics consists of fingerprints and photos. All you need is the letter and I D.

I was told to bring certain documents like the copy of my appointment letter and ID's but I'm wondering if I should also bring some proof of marriage or other important documents as well? Follow the instructions provided on the ASC Biometrics Appointment Letter.

I would suggest bringing a copy of your marriage certificate just in case. We didn't bring anything beyond what was asked for in the letter and were told that they would not do my wife's biometrics without it.. They were rude actually. We asked to speak to the Manager because we felt that perhaps the security guard who greeted us was mistaken. We were told to go get it and be back by the time the office closed or have the appt. considered cancelled.

Oh thank you for letting me know. I will definitely bring my marriage certificate with me. I only have my passport, my social security as a form of identification. I hope that is enough (plus marriage certificate just in case)

Do any of you guys know how long after the biometrics will I get my EAD? I just went to a job interview today and I'm feeling really positive about it that they might consider hiring me. If I do get hired without an EAD yet, is a request for expedited EAD possible?
