Suggest that you also research recent country reviews at the US Embassy & USCIS Office Reviews tab, easily accessible at the top of the forum page: http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/ It is always helpful when fellow VJ members leave reviews of their interview experiences for future members use. Hopefully you will find some useful information.

:guides: easily accessible at the top of the forum page. In particular, the Visa Interview Sample Questions section: http://www.visajourney.com/content/exampleq

Good luck on your immigration journey.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Chisinau consulate. We haven't gotten to the interview yet, but they have been great to work with on things like CRBA, extra passport pages, etc.

Thanks for your review. When I came to drop off my docs, lady told smth like: If an interview will be needed you will show the rest of the docs you prepared....

Is there any chance they can decide on a case without an interview?

No, the interview is always required AFAIK. I think the interview can be quite short if there isn't a cause for concern -- and it is likely that the decision is already made before the interview for a good percentage of the cases. I think her comment probably meant that you can show your pages of communication history, pictures, etc if required at the interview. Adica, she didn't want to take your great big pile of docs that they didn't really have an interest in reading -- I'd take that as a good sign.

Thank you!

Interview was very easy. I was asked only 4-5 basic questions, like:
- am I sure I want to move to US
- how did we meet and about our relationship
- what does my family thinks about our marriage and about moving to US
- what does he do for life
- when do I plan to leave

No tricky questions.

CO was very nice and polite. it is really stress less.
