Status changed back to AP with new creation date. What the heck? Anyone know why and when do they issue?

It's normal it also happened to us, ours took a few weeks to change to issue.

the fingerprint was schedule for 20 april 2015 but chinese president money was more inportant than ours. i had to extend my stay for 3 days just to get the fingerprints done. on 22 april 2015 the embassy was opened and even though the date was not reschedule me and my wife still went to embassy the shuttle person kept asking is your appointment date today but me and my wife kept saying we just a call from embassy to come. he gave the ticket. my wife went to consulate and i was waiting in waiting area where the shuttle starts. i was afraid at consulate they will tell her that we will give you the appointment but wife told them that we came from karachi and its just for fingerprints. consulate took 5 hrs for fingerprints after that they told my wife you will get visa in 4 to 6 days.

Congrats to all getting there visas. Please pray for us as well as we are finally seeing a light on the other side of the tunnel! Embassy just requested my husbands new medical and upon completion they will schedule him for oath and fingerprints iA! I have a question for you guys once at this stage of processing do you guys think I should go to the oath and fingerprints with him? Do you guys think it makes any difference ? I would have to travel to Pakistan with my 3 year old in extreme hot weather so I just thought I would ask for everyone's thoughts??????

I sent email to embassy to send my passport back but embassy replied me this....

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your email. However, as per our available record, this visa case is still under administrative processing. Unfortunately, this process is not waive able or expedite-able, and we are unable to predict the amount of time this process will require.

Although, we certainly understand the importance of family reunion, and also aware about the frustration caused by the delay. However, it is imperative to mention that as soon as this process is concluded, we will move forward in this case accordingly.

Sincerely,

Immigrant Visa Unit

Consular Section, American Embassy

Islamabad, Pakistan

Hi kaleem! We asked for our passport back from the embassy because it was expiring they sent us the same reply and then 3 days letter the courier service called to come pick it up from them so I think this is a pretty standard reply.

Ok thanks maybe they wil send me but during inquiry i did not select the return passport option i was selected other option so which option you selected?
