The ceac wont tell you that, you can call NVC and they will tell you weather the embassy received your documents or not.

I called yesterday to NVC to confirm if embassy got documents I sent them and they confirmed it was in their system.

Thanks Sarahch, I did call Amex today the approved service and they said that all packets have been delivered today which were received

Yesterday and that's it so strange that don't have any tracking and embassy doesn't confirm or want to confirm so I will call NVC then!! BTW is ur husband is in AP?

Hi we have requested passport back too for Umrah after waiting in AP for 30 months. Its not a bad thing we have the right to continue a normal life, just stay in touch with the embassy via email. AP is crazy. U wont believe yesterday I managed to go inside embassy with a relative it was their interview, I asked about my case and all they said was dont worry its in normal processing, then joked with the urdu officier like really thats your version of normal???? I am about to get a lawyer against this. and He laughed and said please dont worry and waste your time just be patient.

Let me know when you get your passport back. My fiance still hasn't received her passport yet and it's been a week and a half since the request was submitted. Yes, their definition of normal is totally not in sync with your definition or mine. Best way is to not let AP hold you or anyone back. Life must and does go on. All the best for Umrah. A very good decision! :)

The online profile is just a registration that you have with the Amex office, theres not much you can track on it, in your case, im sure the embassy got ur papers, u just have to keep checking the ceac for any updates.

Thanks for the info basically when I sent on Monday and straightaway I sent email to embassy saying that I have sent my docs and scanned the receipt too but yesterday they replied that they haven't recieved it n I should contact them after four weeks with receipt number even I mentioned everything in email n today NVC says the same that they sent you that email!! I got the impression from NVC guy is that I shouldn't bother the embassy and let them do their processing work!! Do you think I should wait for four weeks or do something now??
