They asked for more pics only but I took more than what they asked and they were so amazed to see all that and I myself feel that on window both CO & Applicant are not convenient and interview in a room is more better to present all details with ease. At 2nd I felt like they are gonna issue visa right now coz of the way they treated me so well with lot of respect and cool charming behavior but unfortunately 18 Months passed after 2nd...and my wife came to Paki after 2 months when we saw them careless about us and spent 11 months together...she left 3 months ago and now again coming back to Paki after meeting her family...

Have more patience and you will win...But always eat chocolotes when u r tensed and recite...Long Live VJ 3 times...LOL

chill and cheers

LOL

VJ has got me through these past few rough months and thanx to everyone's support and guidance, my head is still sane. I will just give them what they asked for and see what they do. My husband agreed to sending the papers from there, I convinced him by saying I did all the work, I just need u to drop it off now and he thought about it for a second and said ok.

sarach try not to worry about when they will review your papers. Somtimes they review them right away and other times they are very slow. I would continue to plan my trip to Pakistan. It will give you somthing to look forward to.

You could email the embassy and explain that your DS260 doesn't expire until next year and see what they say. I would just give them what they are asking for a medical, pics and new DS260. They may be checking to see if any of your information has changed.

I have a question regarding oath nd fingerprints,

During my Interview they took my finger prints twice, once when they took the pics n second when the CO asked me to read my oath n give her my finger prints.

Now that after submitting my medical the second time are they going to call me again for finger prints.

Carolynhotstuff....does AP end??? Is it a real thing or just a torture technique...keeping families apart??

Yes one day AP will end for everyone. It was never meant to keep families apart but that seems to be what happens at the embassy in Islamabad. AP is meant to do background checks, gather additional documents or allow the embassy to look into cases they think are scams.

It is rare for a couple to be denied the visa at the interview in Pakistan. It seems they must run background checks on all beneficiary's before making a decision. I have a real problem with that. They waste years of peoples lives waiting and wondering if they will get the visa. As the years pass many people lose their co-sponsors or the couple can't handle the stress and just plain give up.

Many of us women put our lives on hold. Not going out with friends and staying home all the time. This is a big mistake. Life is short. Try to make a life for yourself until AP is over. Have fun, go on vacations, visit Pakistan. Being active instead of being depressed is the way to get revenge on those monsters at the embassy.

I just have one more thing to say. How come someone from England who is not Pakistani can be issued a visa in a few days? It shows that background checks do not take months or years! I am getting angry just thinking about how they treat Pakistani people who try to get a visa to the United States all over the world. More killings are done by Americans to other Americans. Our crime rate is very bad. Our government needs to focus on this instead of keeping us away from the Pakistani's that we love.
